
Ryan Cook
Another Houston Area prep standout, Ryan Cook was a 2-year starter at Mayde Creek High School in Katy, Texas.
While at Mayde Creek, Ryan racked up many impressive offensive numbers for the Rams on his way to earning First-Team All-District honors during his junior and senior seasons. Cook finished 5th in the city of Houston in batting average his senior campaign, and still holds the All-Time Stolen Base record for Mayde Creek High School.
Following his career at Mayde Creek, Ryan went on to play at Cisco Junior College before eventually signing with Texas A&M - Kingsville. After arriving in South Texas, Ryan quickly won the starting CF position, and ended up hitting leadoff for Texas A&M - Kingsville, where he still owns the single-game record for steals (5). After a 2-year career that ended with an All-Conference award, Ryan graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.
