A native of Memphis, TN Jim Brock has been involved in youth baseball in Houston for over 50 years.
Coach Brock has a very decorated background, both on and off the field. After playing college baseball for the Owls, Jim Brock graduated with a BA in Economics and Accounting from Rice University. After completing his U.S. Army obligations as a captain-corps of engineers, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas and spent 10 years as a Tax Accountant with Arthur Anderson & Co. He has also served as the Foreign Administration Manager for oil drilling consortium in Norway, France and Israel. Brock has also acquired, managed and added value to several companies for public offerings. Throughout his professional career, Jim has remained active in real estate and alternative investments of various structures.
Jim is also very active in and around his community. A lifetime member and committeeman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, he is also the President of the community MUD Board, and the Chairman of Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of his local Church.
Coaching has always been a passions for Coach Brock. He has worked with thousands of ball players in his time around the game. From coaching youth ball, to coaching high school ball, as well as helping recruit at the college level, Jim is a true baseball man who has dedicated his life to the game.
